Director Of FinanceOcean Place Resort & Spa is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Finance to join our leadership team in Long Branch, NJ. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all financial operations, ensuring the continued financial health and growth of our luxurious resort. You will lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, and reporting initiatives, collaborating closely with other departments to optimize operational efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for driving business success in a dynamic hospitality environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s objectives and growth.Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to provide accurate and timely information to senior management.Oversee cash flow management, audits, tax filings, and compliance with all financial regulations.Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Collaborate with department heads to analyze financial data and identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.Prepare financial presentations and reports for the executive team and board of directors.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.Experience in Reeco, M3, Birchstreet and Opera are all a plus.Minimum of 7 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role—hospitality experience is a plus.Strong knowledge of financial software and advanced proficiency in Excel.Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects effectively.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.BenefitsCompetitive salary ranging from $110,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year, paid bi-weekly.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.Generous paid time off and holiday leave.401(k) retirement planEmployee discounts at Ocean Place Resort & Spa and affiliated properties.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.About the CompanyOcean Place Resort & Spa is a premier destination located in Long Branch, NJ, renowned for its exceptional service, stunning ocean views, and luxurious amenities.
