Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive medical history reviews, physical evaluations, and diagnostic tests to establish accurate diagnoses.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of cardiovascular diseases, such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular disorders.
• Perform and interpret essential cardiac tests and imaging studies, like echocardiograms, stress tests, angiograms, and cardiac catheterizations.
• Develop highly personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and recommending lifestyle adjustments to effectively manage patients' heart conditions.
• Execute interventional procedures—such as angioplasty, stenting, and pacemaker implantation—when necessary.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans and seamlessly coordinate patient care strategies.
• Provide educational resources to patients about cardiovascular health, disease management strategies, and preventive measures.
• Participate in clinical research and trials to contribute to advancements in cardiology.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engage in continuous professional development to keep abreast of evolving practices and technologies in cardiology.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; a Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school is essential.

• Fellowship training in cardiology from a recognized institution.
• Current board certification or eligibility in cardiology from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or equivalent body.
• Valid medical license to practice cardiology in New York State.
• Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and managing a variety of cardiovascular conditions.
• Proficiency in performing and interpreting cardiac diagnostic tests.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in cardiology is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
