Human Resources Representative

Reporting to Chief Financial Officer, the Human Resource Representative will serve as the lead HR partner supporting the business through a combination of employee relations, talent development, operational execution, and organizational effectiveness. This role is responsible for leading and executing all core HR processes including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefit administration, leadership support, compliance, workforce planning, training, engagement, and culture initiatives. Responsibilities: Strategic HR Partnership & Organizational Effectiveness Partner with company leaders to align people strategies with operational and business priorities. Support organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and capability development. Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on employee relations, performance, engagement, organizational health, and change management. Drive initiatives that strengthen culture, accountability, communication, and execution excellence. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning Lead recruiting and staffing efforts across plant and professional roles. Develop recruiting strategies to support growth, workforce availability, and critical skill needs. Support onboarding and retention initiatives. Lead and document employee relations investigations and corrective action processes. Provide coaching and guidance to leaders regarding employee performance, conduct, and workplace concerns. Ensure consistent and fair application of company policies and employment practices. Performance Management & Talent Development Support execution of performance management processes including goal setting, feedback conversations, and development planning. Coordinate leadership and employee training initiatives. Help build manager capability around coaching, accountability, and communication. Administer compensation programs and support annual compensation review processes. Support employee benefits administration and employee inquiries. Ensure accurate HRIS data management and reporting. Compliance & Risk Management Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Administer the Company’s Alcohol, Cannabis, and Drug Testing and Prevention Program. Support unemployment claims, hearings, and related documentation. BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. 5–8 years of progressive Human Resources experience required. Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations preferred. Strong understanding of human resources principles, employment law, and employee relations practices. Demonstrated ability to build credibility and influence leaders at multiple levels of the organization. Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
