Senior Director, Global SOX

Revolution Medicines seeks an experienced Senior Director of Global SOX to lead the company's Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal controls program across multiple regions. The role involves establishing governance frameworks, managing IT and application controls, and ensuring effective risk-based controls supporting financial reporting and commercial expansion.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual SOX planning, scoping, risk assessments, testing coordination, and deficiency remediation tracking
• Develop and maintain global SOX governance model with consistent standards and regional execution
• Oversee ITGC program for enterprise and regional systems supporting financial reporting
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify financial reporting risks and ensure control effectiveness
• Provide quarterly and annual SOX updates to leadership and the Audit Committee on compliance status

Requirements

• Extensive experience leading SOX compliance and ICFR programs at enterprise scale
• Deep knowledge of ITGC domains, ERP systems, and financial reporting controls
• Experience managing controls across multiple geographies and regulatory environments
• Strong partnership and stakeholder management skills across Finance, IT, and business functions
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable, risk-based control operating models
• Understanding of commercial systems, supply chain, and global business processes
