Research Associate I

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Research Associate I for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Tucson, AZ. This is a 12 month contract opportunity. This role is part of a division dedicated to personalized healthcare solutions, focusing on advancing science in in-vitro diagnostics. The Research Associate will be responsible for conducting laboratory experimentation for research, development, and manufacturing to support key projects in a global leader for in-vitro diagnostics. Responsibilities Responsible for conducting research, development and manufacturing laboratory experimentation and other scientific activities to support company projects Exercises technical expertise and discretion in the design, execution and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project strategies Prepares technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses Presents and discusses results of experiments within department and project team Maintains high level of professional expertise through familiarity with scientific literature and may participate in conferences and professional societies Follows company policies and procedures for GMP, GLP, Design Control and others as appropriate Maintains complete and accurate laboratory documentation and electronic files May act as principal investigator in conducting own experiments Requirements Bachelor’s degree (Life Sciences preferred) 0-2 years of relevant post-college experience Candidates with more than 2 years of post-college experience will not be considered Candidates with a Master’s degree or Ph.D will not be considered Pay range: up to $23.00 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
