Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments. The detox center operates Monday through Saturday, giving you the autonomy to create your own schedule within those days to best support your clients' needs. You’ll have the opportunity to engage in in-house credentialing and receive management of your insurance participation, enhancing your practice while allowing you to focus on your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your responsibilities as a Mental Health Counselor will include:

• Performing thorough psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups to identify treatment needs and develop tailored intervention plans.

• Conducting initial comprehensive assessments to categorize care appropriately, ensuring that each client's unique needs are addressed.
\n
• Collaborating with other health professionals through effective communication, including documentation of treatment interventions and participation in patient rounds to enhance interdisciplinary care.

• Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the physical, psychological, social, and educational needs of patients throughout various age groups.
\n
• Managing case loads effectively by consulting with hospital and community resources to provide holistic care solutions.

• Completing all necessary documentation efficiently and ethically, adhering to organizational policies and timelines.

• Implementing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities to aid patients in developing and implementing their individualized service plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals undergoing detoxification and recovery, ranging from adolescents to adults facing a variety of mental health challenges. Your expertise will be pivotal in creating a trusting environment where clients can address their mental health needs while managing the impacts of substance use and related disorders.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, you must possess:

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience providing mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
