The Detox Center operates Monday through Saturday, providing opportunity for scheduling that accommodates your availability. With in-house credentialing and insurance management already in place, you will have more time to focus on your clients without the burden of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, ensuring a thorough understanding of client needs and challenges.

• Design and implement tailored clinical social work and counseling interventions, utilizing frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients in fulfilling their individualized service plans.

• Engage in collaborative meetings and documentation processes that promote effective communication among interdisciplinary team members regarding treatment plans and patient progress.

• Demonstrate proficiency in addressing the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of patients across diverse age groups, employing ethical practices in all communications and documentation.

• Facilitate ongoing case management for assigned patients, working closely with community professionals and programs to ensure comprehensive care is consistently provided.

• Timely completion of all clinical documentation in compliance with departmental standards, contributing to a seamless workflow within the clinical environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at our Detox Center, you will primarily support individuals navigating the complexities of detoxification and early recovery. This includes adolescents and adults facing a range of issues, from substance use disorders to mental health co-morbidities. Your role will be crucial in helping patients develop coping strategies, address underlying psychological concerns, and plan for their long-term recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A completed Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

• A commitment to working 10 to 40 hours per week, allowing for significant flexibility in session scheduling.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health or substance use treatment settings. Experience with evidence-based treatment modalities and familiarity in working with interdisciplinary teams will be considered an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
