Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and needs.

• Delivering individual therapy sessions utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and solution-focused therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting clients who are experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, and other behavioral issues. By engaging with clients from diverse backgrounds, you will provide vital support to help them navigate their recovery journey in a compassionate and understanding manner.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to form trusting relationships with clients.

• A profound sense of empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to manage caseloads effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience working in a detox center or with clients in recovery from substance use disorders will be highly regarded. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices in virtual counseling is also beneficial to the role.
