Business Development Representative North Suburbs

What You’ll Do You’ll be responsible for growing Prism’s presence throughout the Chicago market by building strategic partnerships with referral sources while working side-by-side with our respiratory therapists, clinicians, customer service, and operations teams to deliver an outstanding patient experience. Every day you’ll have the opportunity to: Develop new referral relationships while strengthening existing partnerships. Educate physicians, hospitals, and healthcare professionals on innovative home medical equipment and respiratory solutions. Collaborate with Prism’s clinical team to improve patient access, reduce delays in care, and enhance outcomes. Identify opportunities to solve customer challenges through consultative selling rather than transactional sales. Conduct educational programs, lunch-and-learns, and product demonstrations for referral partners. Serve as a trusted resource by helping referral sources navigate documentation, insurance requirements, and patient needs. Execute a strategic territory business plan while identifying new growth opportunities. Utilize CRM tools to manage opportunities, analyze territory performance, and prioritize daily activities. Stay informed on industry trends, reimbursement changes, and competitive activity. Resolve customer concerns quickly while providing an exceptional level of service. A team player who values collaboration, communication, and continuous learning. Qualifications Required Outside sales experience, preferably within Home Medical Equipment (HME), DME, respiratory, home health, hospice, pharmaceutical, or healthcare services. Demonstrated success developing new business and growing strategic accounts. Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational and territory management skills. Experience using CRM platforms to manage sales opportunities. Valid Illinois driver’s license with the ability to travel throughout the Chicago market. Preferred Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and healthcare reimbursement. Understanding of respiratory care, home medical equipment, or post-acute healthcare services. Existing relationships within the Chicago healthcare community. Why Join Prism?
