Payroll Assistant

Job Description Position Title: Jr Payroll / Garnishment Contractor Location: Columbus, OH 43240 Onsite 100% Anticipated Start Date: 9/21/2024 Expected Duration: 6+ months contract (with possibility of extension or conversion) Job Type: ON‑SITE Pay Range: $21.00 – $21.38 BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Garnishment Contractor for an opportunity in Columbus, OH. Job Description: Perform accounting functions requiring knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation. Answer customer inquiries and research problems or complaints. Create and edit spreadsheets; act as a lead when needed. Work as a member of the final pay team, handling payroll, reconciliation and terminations duties. Qualifications: Experience in payroll processing and garnishment procedures. Strong knowledge of payroll reconciliation and termination processes. Proficiency with accounting and accounting software. Ability to work independently and lead as required. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
