Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianAs a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of various systems by adhering to safety and food safety regulations. You will play a key role in enhancing the Preventative Maintenance program to minimize downtime, and you will troubleshoot and repair systems including PLCs, electrical, and mechanical systems. Collaboration with multiple departments and organizing the maintenance shop using 5S methodology are essential components of the role. You will also be expected to learn the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and perform preventative maintenance on baking equipment and conveyor systems.Troubleshoot and repair mixing equipment, extruders, servos, VFDs, sensors, feed control systems, refrigeration, proofer, conveyors, boilers, silos, and oven equipment.Build, replace, rotate, inspect, and change parts of industrial machines.Connect power to machines, install motors, and rewire motors using blueprints and schematics.Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, and forklifts.Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum material.Run conduit and electrical wiring to new industrial machines.Fabricate using drill press, cutting out holes, and making parts.Essential SkillsElectrical troubleshootingIndustrial maintenanceExperience with troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of automated equipmentExperience with assembly equipment such as conveyorsExperience building industrial equipmentExperience rebuilding 3-phase motorsWeldingAbility to read and interpret schematics and blueprintsPLC controlMaintenance repairConveyor systemsMotors installationElectrical maintenanceUse of hand toolsKnowledge of hydraulics and pneumaticsPLC troubleshootingAdditional Skills & QualificationsAbility to rebuild and rewire 3-phase motorsExperience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinesPLC Troubleshooting/Automation experienceInstallation of conduit and electrical wiringWhy Work Here?This opportunity is perfect for someone seeking overtime, with the possibility of working up to 60 hours per week at other locations.
