Job Details Litigation Associate Position The firm is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate to join its growing practice group. The ideal candidate will have experience handling civil litigation matters and is looking for an opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility while working alongside experienced attorneys. ** Open to specific litigation backgrounds** Responsibilities:
Handle all phases of complex civil litigation matters
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal correspondence
Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
Manage discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
Participate in hearings, mediations, and client communications
Collaborate directly with partners and other attorneys on case strategy
Develop strong litigation skills through hands-on experience Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Admission to the Connecticut Bar or ability to obtain admission
2+ years of litigation experience preferred
Experience with civil litigation, commercial litigation, insurance defense, professional liability, or related practice areas preferred
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
