Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess functional limitations and disabilities, creating tailored treatment plans that align with individual goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and techniques, including manual therapy, exercise therapy, and modalities as appropriate for each patient's condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes, providing consultation regarding patient progress and treatment adjustments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with all regulatory and legal standards.
• Lead patient education sessions, equipping patients and their families with the knowledge necessary for self-management and recovery post-discharge.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including physical therapy assistants and interns, promoting a culture of learning and development within the clinic.
• Participate actively in clinic meetings, marketing initiatives, and community outreach programs to enhance the clinic's presence and support overall organizational goals.
• Continuously engage in professional development through attending workshops, conferences, and in-service training, staying abreast of the latest treatment methodologies and regulatory changes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes a diverse range of individuals, from post-operative orthopedic patients to those managing chronic conditions that affect mobility and strength. Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in Florida, along with current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Proficiency in the use of electronic health records (EHR) and various therapeutic modalities.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic physical therapy setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience with rehabilitation equipment and technology specific to our facility's modalities.
• Previous involvement in mentoring or training students and junior staff members.

Compensation and Benefits
