DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position plays a key role in delivering medical care and supporting the health of individuals within Selinsgrove Center. The work involves ongoing evaluation, treatment, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team. As a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, you will perform the following duties: Medical Care: Provide evaluations, examinations, and follow-up care for assigned individuals Daily Rounds: Observe individuals, review conditions, and document findings during regular rounds Clinical Oversight: Order required studies and maintain detailed documentation in medical records Family Communication: Make direct contact with families or guardians during important medical events Team Collaboration: Meet with team members to discuss psychotropic medications and overall care needs Regulatory Compliance: Maintain knowledge of Medical Assistance and community standards and apply them in daily work Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Participation in a rotating on-call schedule for evening and weekend coverage is required. Overtime as operationally necessary Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Special Requirement: You must be in possession of a valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Post Employment Requirement: You must obtain and maintain valid CRNP Prescriptive Authority Approval to prescribe and dispense drugs as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
