Sr. Account Manager

Senior Account Manager, Entertainment The Entertainment Specialty Group is looking for a Senior Account Manager with experience insuring the clients of entertainment business managers. The Senior Account Manager is responsible for working with business managers to service client accounts, supporting them in day-to-day account management for a specific set of clients, and handling a great deal of verbal, electronic, and written communications. The Senior Account Manager will manage the renewal and marketing process from start to finish in conjunction with business managers, prepare materials for presentations and communications, assist team members with day‑to‑day client servicing, and take an active speaking role in meetings. The Senior Account Manager will also manage their own block of business and write new business from start to finish without input from advisers or client executives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Works proactively to maintain relationships with carrier and client contacts and may lead client meetings for accounts assigned. Manages the renewal and marketing process from start to finish in conjunction with Client Executives and Advisors. Communicates directly with clients and carriers in collaboration with the Client Executive or Advisor. Creates and maintains client files in accordance with office procedures and keeps policy records in the agency management system. Has an assigned book of business. Writes new business accounts from leads provided by other team members and from leads cultivated by the Senior Account Manager within the film/TV industry. Knowledge, Skills, and/Or Abilities Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-confident to make sound independent decisions. Able to work overtime as necessary. Can interact with a variety of people and work well in both team and autonomous environments. Handles situations in a calm, courteous, and professional manner. Customer-focused to establish and maintain effective relationships. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook). Intermediate experience with agency management systems. Prioritizes multiple tasks to meet deadlines. Can read, analyze, and reconcile financial reports. Possesses strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Sharp attention to detail, decision‑making skills, and problem resolution. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, deadlines, and technology. Education and/or Experience BA/BS preferred. Typically more than ten years of industry and product line experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registration P&C Insurance License required.
