Work Environment

The work setting at our outpatient office fosters a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, where physical therapists engage closely with one another and various healthcare professionals. This onsite position allows for daily interactions with patients, providing an environment that encourages communication and effective teamwork. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, facilitating work-life balance while meeting the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical conditions and functional abilities, utilizing both standardized assessments and clinical judgment.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans based on evaluation results, targeting specific conditions and goals, such as recovery from post-surgical care, chronic pain relief, or enhanced mobility.
• Utilize evidence-based hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities (e.g., heat, ice, electrical stimulation) to alleviate pain and promote healing.
• Educate patients on effective body mechanics, posture, and strategies to prevent injuries, enhancing their understanding of their health and rehabilitation process.
• Regularly monitor and track patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure that each individual receives optimal care tailored to their evolving needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, physicians, and chiropractors, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Maintain meticulous patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of treatments, outcomes, and patient interactions to support continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographics include individuals recovering from surgeries, athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries, seniors managing age-related conditions, and anyone seeking relief from chronic pain or mobility impairments. We specialize in treating various conditions such as back and neck pain, osteoarthritis, tendonitis, sprains and strains, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Your role will be pivotal in empowering these individuals to regain their functionality and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, with an emphasis on outpatient care.
• Proficiency in employing advanced physical therapy techniques and modalities effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative treatment solutions for varied rehabilitation needs.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient facility with diverse patient populations is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
