Foxtail Palm Motion Physical Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Sacramento, California. This role is focused on patient-centered care in an outpatient setting, where you will work closely with individuals to restore mobility, enhance functional performance, and improve overall quality of life. Our dedicated team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant to ensure personalized attention and a comprehensive approach to patient recovery. We primarily cater to individuals with private medical insurance, providing them with tailored interventions that meet their unique needs.

Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our outpatient office in Sacramento, California, where collaboration and teamwork drive our success. Operating Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, you will engage in an environment that fosters professional growth and patient engagement. Our facility is designed to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for both staff and patients, emphasizing high-quality care and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patients' objectives and needs, tailoring treatment strategies to maximize recovery.
• Maintain an efficient patient load, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring individualized care and attention.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and administer treatment plans encompassing a variety of therapeutic modalities to enhance mobility and functional abilities.
• Utilize cost-effective therapies aimed at improving patients' range of motion while minimizing dependency on medications.
• Design and implement personalized fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient goals.
• Employ manual therapy techniques and evidence-based interventions to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment processes, empowering them to take active roles in their recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to enhance integrated care and treatment plans.
• Regularly monitor progress, conduct follow-up assessments, and document all patient interactions comprehensively.
• Provide education to patients and their families about preventative care, wellness, and lifestyle changes that support long-term health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our orthopedic outpatient practice, you will work primarily with adults, including those recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical repair, and chronic pain conditions. Our patients rely on us for personalized, one-on-one care aimed at restoring their mobility and enhancing their functional independence. We emphasize active involvement from our clients in their treatment plans, promoting self-management and wellness beyond therapy sessions.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and active licensure as a Physical Therapist in California are required.
• No record of disciplinary actions against your professional license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, exercise program design, and implementation is essential.
• Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings will be highly regarded.
• A strong understanding of advanced therapeutic practices and a commitment to continuous learning are advantageous.
• Experience in designing innovative treatment strategies that contribute to improved patient outcomes is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
