Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center in Sacramento, California, is designed to facilitate healing and well-being. The team consists of two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all dedicated to offering high-quality evidence-based care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a well-balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' needs and establish treatment goals.
• Manage a designated patient load effectively, ensuring individualized attention with an average of one patient per hour.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing a variety of treatment techniques tailored to each patient.
• Guide patients through personalized exercise regimens to strengthen muscles, improve flexibility, and enhance coordination.
• Provide cost-effective therapies aimed at optimizing movement and mobility, reducing reliance on medication and invasive procedures.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to monitor treatment outcomes and adapt plans as necessary.
• Document all treatment procedures meticulously to maintain clear communication among healthcare team members and ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate proactively with other healthcare professionals to address complex patient needs.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to achieve their maximum potential.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele primarily consists of individuals with orthopedic conditions requiring outpatient physical therapy. We cater predominantly to patients with private medical insurance, which allows for tailored treatment plans that address specific goals and challenges. The nature of the work involves helping patients recover from surgeries, manage chronic pain, and improve functional abilities through a structured rehabilitation approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; advanced qualifications such as Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are preferred.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or board complaints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic manual therapy techniques.
• Skills in creating tailored exercise programs that meet individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is highly advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Practical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
