Key Responsibilities

In your role as an Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients to determine their unique needs and treatment goals.
• Design, implement, and modify customized rehabilitation plans that employ evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of approximately , allowing for thorough interaction and quality care.
• Facilitate cost-effective therapeutic interventions to promote functional recovery, restoring movement and improving physical capabilities.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation, based on each patient's specific condition.
• Advocate for nonsurgical treatment options that empower patients to make informed decisions regarding their healthcare.
• Monitor patient progress through continuous evaluation and adjust treatment strategies to optimize outcomes.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records using EMR software, particularly Web PT, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards.
• Engage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a supportive environment that emphasizes healing and personal empowerment.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our patient demographic includes athletes seeking to return to play, elderly individuals requiring mobility training, and anyone desiring to enhance their physical activity post-injury. Your efforts will contribute to restoring their functional independence and improving quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A history of professional conduct reflecting a commitment to patient safety and ethical practice, with no sanctions or board actions.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and skilled in a variety of therapeutic exercise programs.
• Demonstrated capability in utilizing EMR systems, specifically Web PT, for accurate and timely documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current advancements in physical therapy practices and evidence-based methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations and a strong understanding of various rehabilitation protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range starting from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
