Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop individualized treatment plans focused on rehabilitation and recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement effective treatment modalities, including therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques.
• Maintain a manageable patient load to ensure that each individual receives personalized care and attention during each session.
• Advocate for patient-centered care by exploring cost-effective treatment options that enhance patient mobility and independence.
• Create detailed fitness and wellness plans that address the unique needs and preferences of each patient.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly based on outcomes and feedback.

• Mentor and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including orthopedic surgeons and occupational therapists, to optimize patient treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries such as joint replacements, ligament repairs, and other musculoskeletal procedures. Our clinic serves a diverse population of patients ranging from athletes to seniors, each requiring specialized care tailored to their specific health challenges.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in California, reflecting a commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
• Experience with orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and familiarity with evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
• Proficient in documentation software, including EMR systems, to ensure accurate and comprehensive record-keeping.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits
