Baker's Field Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Sacramento, California. Baker's Field Therapy Services is a well-respected orthopedic outpatient practice specialized in sports medicine, situated within a modern 5000 square-foot facility in Sacramento. Our practice is a leader in providing high-quality physical therapy to patients with private insurance, ensuring personalized care tailored to individual needs. Our team currently consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering exceptional service to our valued patients.

Work Environment

This position is stationed onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, where you will have access to advanced therapeutic equipment and resources conducive to patient recovery. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, facilitating a balanced professional life. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized care plans that address each patient's specific goals and needs.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, providing thorough evaluations and hands-on treatment.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver cost-effective treatment options that enhance patient motion and mobility.
• Minimize reliance on medications by exploring and promoting non-surgical treatment alternatives whenever possible.
• Employ diverse treatment techniques, including manual therapies and exercise regimens, to maximize patient recovery rates.
• Foster a motivating environment, encouraging patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to achieve optimal functioning.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices that improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination among patients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care delivery, addressing all aspects of patient health.
• Constantly evaluate treatment effects and document service delivery comprehensively to maintain clear patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic outpatient care, serving patients who present with a range of musculoskeletal issues. You will engage with clients recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. We particularly emphasize personalizing treatment strategies to cater to the diverse needs of individuals insured through private medical plans, ensuring a supportive and understanding atmosphere conducive to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possess an active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• Must have no disciplinary actions or board actions recorded against your license.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective exercise programs are essential.
• Please demonstrate familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to enhance documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, providing you with relevant skills to ensure patient satisfaction and outcome success.
• A background in sports medicine or rehabilitation techniques will contribute significantly to your performance in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
