Work Environment

The job is primarily onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Sacramento, which promotes a supportive and engaging workplace atmosphere. The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients presenting with orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions, utilizing both physical assessments and patient histories.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery, enhancing mobility, and achieving specific functional goals.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic modalities, manual therapy techniques, and exercise regimens tailored to each patient's unique needs to maximize their rehabilitation journey.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to both state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs), and other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation exercises, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term wellness.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending workshops, seminars, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse array of patients ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly individuals managing chronic pain. Your role is crucial in fostering a supportive rehabilitation journey that empowers patients to regain their function and independence. You will play an integral part in addressing a variety of conditions and implementing evidence-based practices that enhance patient recovery.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Physical Therapy License in the state of California.
• Possess a Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• New graduate physical therapists are encouraged to apply; mentorship and onboarding support will be provided.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently in a busy outpatient setting is essential.
• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required for this position, we also welcome applications from new graduates eager to learn in a supportive environment. Experience with electronic medical record systems and familiarity with the latest rehabilitation practices will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
