Work Environment

Working onsite at our rehabilitation facility, you will collaborate closely with a team of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant. Our setting is dynamic, engaging, and filled with experienced professionals who are passionate about patient health and wellness. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to establish individualized care objectives based on their unique needs and lifestyle.
• Administer and manage therapy for an average of one patient per hour, utilizing effective time management strategies to deliver optimal care.
• Create and implement comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate a variety of modalities, ensuring a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
• Offer effective alternatives to medications whenever possible, emphasizing functional rehabilitation and preventive measures instead.
• Assist patients in improving mobility through targeted exercise regimens and therapeutic interventions, motivating them to achieve and maintain their functional capabilities.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring clear communication and coordination with other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and their families on wellness strategies, promoting physical health and preventative care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves clients with personal medical insurance, providing a diverse array of cases primarily related to orthopedic conditions. You will work with individuals of various ages and backgrounds, each with unique recovery goals ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management.

Qualifications

• A valid Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with no history of disciplinary actions.
• A strong foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and a commitment to maximizing patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in exercise programming and manual therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and support for continuing education.
