Work Environment

The role of Physical Therapist at Valley Heights is full-time and operates onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility located in Sacramento. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities, limitations, and specific therapeutic needs.

• Facilitating active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, activities of daily living, gait training, and functional training.
• Educating patients and their families regarding care plans, exercises, and preventive measures to support recovery.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Physical Therapist at Valley Heights, you will need:

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active California State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in orthopedic physical rehabilitation, demonstrating competency in post-operative and conservative management plans.
