Work Environment

This full-time role is performed onsite in our modern outpatient office located in the vibrant city of Sacramento, California. Our facility is designed not only for patient comfort but also for staff efficiency, featuring treatment rooms equipped with advanced tools and technologies. Working Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 8 PM, you will have the opportunity to engage with patients during peak hours, developing rapport and providing care in a relaxed yet professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual needs, functional limitations, and potential for improvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans, setting achievable goals to support patient recovery.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions and education, ensuring patients understand their treatment plan and the importance of adherence for optimal outcomes.
• Utilize appropriate therapeutic techniques and modalities to address patient concerns, facilitating functional mobility and pain management.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in exercises, the use of therapeutic devices, and self-management strategies to promote ongoing wellness.
• Prioritize patient caseloads effectively, coordinate daily staffing needs, and ensure smooth transitions in care through comprehensive communication within the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on both adult and pediatric patients, addressing a variety of conditions including post-surgical rehabilitations, sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, and neurological disorders. As a member of our outpatient team, you will engage with patients at all stages of recovery, applying your clinical expertise to adapt treatment plans that meet their unique needs. Qualifications

• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or commitment to obtain this certification within 30 days of employment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with patients and collaborate effectively with the care team.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation practices.

Compensation and Benefits
