Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Arcadia Therapeutic Services, you will work directly within patients' homes, providing personalized care in a familiar and comfortable environment. This onsite work setting allows you to build strong relationships with patients and understand their unique challenges. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations to devise effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Implement and monitor treatment interventions designed to improve strength, flexibility, and overall mobility.
• Educate patients about their conditions and the therapeutic process, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities.
• Maintain an efficient patient load, seeing one patient per hour to ensure personalized, focused care.
• Document patient progress meticulously, utilizing EMR software to track outcomes and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and physicians, to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Regularly assess and adjust care plans based on patient progress, ensuring alignment with healthcare goals.
• Advocate for non-invasive treatment alternatives, minimizing reliance on medications and promoting lifestyle changes.
• Encourage patient motivation and commitment to rehabilitation goals through supportive communication and reinforced positive outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic outpatient care, serving patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. You will engage with a diverse range of clients, each with specific rehabilitation needs, which may include post-operative recovery and sports-related injuries. Your expertise will be vital in guiding these patients towards achieving their rehabilitation goals and enhancing their overall functionality.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; candidates holding a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) are preferred.
• Active Physical Therapist licensure in California is essential, with no disciplinary actions or restrictions on the license.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant physical therapy experience, particularly in orthopedic outpatient settings, is required.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and a solid understanding of therapeutic exercise routines.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, such as WebPT, is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of three years of experience is required, candidates with additional certifications in specialized therapy techniques or with experience in home care settings will be viewed favorably. Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
