Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our Sacramento office, which features state-of-the-art equipment and facilities designed specifically for outpatient care. You will work within a supportive team atmosphere, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Our work schedule is designed for consistency and accessibility, with hours from Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a work-life balance while meeting the patient demands of our growing practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized treatment programs based on thorough evaluations of patients' needs and goals.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring that each session is tailored to their unique requirements.
• Utilize a diverse range of treatment techniques to improve patients' mobility, including manual therapy and effective exercise routines.
• Document all services and interventions provided using electronic medical record (EMR) software like WebPT, ensuring accurate and efficient patient tracking.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment process to achieve optimum recovery outcomes while minimizing the reliance on medications and exploring non-surgical alternatives.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers including physicians and specialists to optimize patient care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
• Regularly evaluate the effects of treatment, monitor progress, and maintain open channels of communication with patients to address any concerns.
• Promote wellness education and healthy lifestyle choices that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily focus on treating patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with a diverse client base, including young athletes seeking to regain strength and functionality as well as older adults looking to maintain their independence and quality of life through rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with no board or disciplinary actions against the license.
• Solid foundational skills in manual therapy and a proven ability to develop effective exercise routines tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to streamline clinical documentation and ensure comprehensive patient records.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, specifically in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Experience customizing fitness and wellness programs based on patient assessments and rehabilitation goals.

Compensation and Benefits
