Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our onsite rehabilitation center in Sacramento, you will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance. Our facility is equipped with modern therapy tools and equipment, supporting various rehabilitation modalities and techniques. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of patients, reviewing medical history, current conditions, functional limitations, and personal goals to create effective treatment plans.
• Develop individualized plans of care based on initial assessments that clearly outline therapeutic interventions tailored to the patient's needs.
• Educate patients about their treatment journeys, fostering a cooperative approach to rehabilitation that encourages adherence to the proposed plans of care.
• Utilize progressive exercise prescription and advanced manual therapy techniques, including joint mobilization and soft tissue manipulation, to optimize patient recovery.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with recovery milestones.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions, treatment provided, and progress made to support continuity of care and compliance with state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals dealing with orthopedic injuries and post-operative recovery, including athletes, weekend warriors, and the aging population. We focus on empowering patients by offering personalized rehabilitation programs that align with their rehabilitation goals, encouraging active participation in their healing processes.

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid licensure in the State of California as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• A minimum of 3 years of experiencing treating patients in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques, such as myofascial release and therapeutic joint mobilization.

Preferred Experience

While 3 years of experience are required, additional certifications in specialties like sports therapy or geriatric rehabilitation are favorable. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a commitment to continuing professional development are also highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits
