Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Body Orthopedic Pain Management, Inc., you will take on a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Delivering direct physical therapy treatments tailored to individual patient needs, aimed at preventing disability and enhancing functional mobility.
• Supervising and guiding physical therapy assistants to ensure compliance with established care plans and achieving optimal patient outcomes.
• Conducting comprehensive diagnostic evaluations of clients' functional abilities to inform treatment strategies.
• Evaluating home environments and recommending modifications that promote client independence in mobility and daily activities.
• Providing home-based physical therapy services as prescribed, adhering to safety and clinical guidelines.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and treatment modalities including traction and massage to aid recovery.
• Assessing, evaluating, and recommending adjustments for prosthetic and orthotic devices to optimize patient support.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team case conferences, contributing expertise to treatment planning and collaborative patient evaluations.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating seamless communication with healthcare teams.
• Educating clients and their families on therapy equipment usage and care techniques, empowering them to engage actively in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in acute care or home care settings to ensure familiarity with the complexities of patient rehabilitation.
• Current CPR certification to guarantee readiness in emergency situations.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance to facilitate travel for home-based visits when necessary.
