This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your schedule while ensuring continuous support for clients in the detox center. Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ psychosocial needs, considering their emotional, mental, and social challenges during detox.

• Developing individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote effective recovery strategies.

• Providing counseling and emotional support to clients, guiding them through the detox process and addressing any life transitions or challenges.

• Advocating for clients’ rights and ensuring they have access to necessary resources, services, and community support.

• Maintaining regular check-ins with clients to monitor their progress, adjusting care plans as needed to meet evolving needs.

• Facilitating effective communication between clients and their families to resolve conflicts and foster a holistic support system.

• Documenting client interactions, assessments, and progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Staying informed about best practices in social work, particularly as they relate to substance use and detoxification services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The client population will primarily include individuals undergoing detoxification from substance use substances, requiring a uniquely tailored approach to address their multifaceted needs. You will engage with clients who are navigating the challenges of addiction recovery, working closely with them and their families to foster resilience and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of experience in social work, preferably within substance use treatment or mental health settings.

• Strong knowledge of social work principles, addiction issues, and available community resources for recovery support.

• Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and strong rapport-building skills when interacting with clients facing addiction challenges.

Compensation and Benefits\n
