Corporate Accounting ManagerThe Corporate Accounting Manager is a key member of the Asset Living corporate accounting team. This position reports to the Controller and is responsible for many aspects of day-to-day operations and financial reporting.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupervise day to day corporate accounting operations including billing, accounts payable, general ledger, revenue recognition, and cash management, and ensuring that the books are closed in accordance with US GAAPReview monthly financial statements and perform variance analysesPrepare/review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve issues timelyPrepare journal entries for complex or higher risk areas, including corporate payroll and various insurance programsReviews AP invoices for accurate coding; analyzes expenses to ensure that all expenses are captured in the financial dataPrepare audit and tax related requestsDrive consistency and month end close process standardization across the Asset Living regionsLead in development of new processes and procedures to improve month end close and financial reportingDevelop and maintain proper procedures in technical accounting areas such as lease accounting, fixed assets, intangibles and revenue recognition and prepare accounting memos when necessarySupport M&A in the areas of onboarding acquisitions and post-merger integration activitiesPerform other duties as directed by ControllerEducation & ExperienceBachelor and/or Master's Degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA Eligible or CPA PreferredPrevious experience leading or managing a team of accountantsExcellent critical reasoning, quantitative, and analytical skillsDeep understanding of financial conceptsExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsProven organizational skills with attention to detail.Excellent project management skills and ability to execute initiatives while balancing day to day objectivesExperience with NetSuite a plusThis job description should not be considered all-inclusive.
