Assembler IHot JobCT - Seymour, CT 06483DescriptionSummary:Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies.Assembles and/or repairs products, partially or completely, by performing the following duties listed below.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Manually assemble electronics related hardware (heat sinks, screws, bolts, fans, cages, sheet-metal enclosures, etc.) according to knowledge of unit being assembled by following written directions and/or drawings and/or schematics.Assemble electronic assemblies, cable assemblies, & mechanical assemblies according to work instructions.Communicates and listens effectively in a professional and courteous manner.Ability to solve minor problems and recognize bigger problems that require supervisor assistance.Utilizes small hand tools (drills, nut-drivers, calipers, torque wrenches, pliers, etc.).Good attention to detail and organizational skills.Works as a member of a team.Functions under time pressure.Gets along with co-workers.Contributes to a positive, healthy and safe work environment. Work in compliance with Microboard, OSHA and SDS safety policies.Proficiency with and working knowledge of Microboard MIS (Aegis) software is required.Accepts change in a positive manner.QualificationsQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Use of simple hand tools.Ability to maintain inventory of supplies used at the bench.Depanel scored or routed assemblies per work instructions.Through Hole insertion.Assemble hardware with an understanding of torque and thread lock.No industry experience is required.Apply adhesives and epoxies according to work instruction (this includes the proper mixing of 2-part adhesives).Setup and use of dispensing equipment.Cable terminations and wire routing.Router operation for depaneling.Use of manual and electric press(es).
