Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide trauma-informed counseling services to individuals, couples, and families experiencing a range of challenges.

• Incorporate Christian counseling principles and biblical wisdom into therapy sessions for clients seeking faith-centered support.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect each client's unique needs, goals, and aspirations.

• Provide counseling services to clients referred by local churches, strengthening community ties.

• Engage in community outreach and networking activities to grow your caseload and establish new referral sources.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as social workers and clinical counselors, to coordinate holistic care for our clients.

• Maintain accurate client records and timely progress notes using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

• Communicate openly with the center director regarding your scheduling needs and client availability.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse clientele includes individual adults, couples, and families primarily from the Everett community and surrounding areas. Our counseling services cater to a wide range of mental health concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and goal-oriented personal growth. We emphasize integrating faith-based approaches for those clients who wish to incorporate their spiritual beliefs into their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of the Bible and Christian counseling techniques.
\n
• Independently licensed as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Washington, or within 200 hours of completing residency.

• Desire for dual licensure in Virginia or Maryland is highly preferred.
\n
• Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) or willingness to complete EMDR basic training within three months of hire.

• Demonstrated knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and interventions.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective interactions with clients and colleagues alike.

• Empathetic, compassionate approach to counseling, with commitment to confidentiality and adherence to ethical guidelines.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of one year of experience specifically in trauma counseling, demonstrating skill in navigating complex emotional and psychological issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
