Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their unique backgrounds and needs.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions tailored to the identified needs of clients, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

• Develop tailored crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness initiatives to enhance patient stability and functioning.

• Create discharge plans to ensure a smooth transition for patients as they conclude their treatment journey.
\n
• Adhere to federal and state regulations, as well as established Kinetic policies and procedures, to guarantee ethical and effective practice.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education activities to stay current with best practices and new methodologies.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to foster collaborative decision-making and care planning.
\n
• Complete all necessary licensing and mandatory training requirements to maintain licensure and professional competence.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges. You will interact with individuals and families seeking support for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and adjustment disorders. Understanding the cultural contexts and unique needs of each client is critical in delivering effective therapy that ensures positive treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in the state of California, with credentials including LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW.

Compensation and Benefits\n
