Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to identify the social, emotional, and psychological needs of your clients.

• Provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to meet the unique needs of clients dealing with substance use and mental health challenges.

• Develop and implement personalized service plans that align with clients’ goals and aspirations, ensuring measures for ongoing evaluation and adaptation.

• Act as an advocate for clients, facilitating access to essential resources, support services, and educational programs that address their unique situations.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, community organizations, government agencies, and volunteers to enhance the delivery of services and build a supportive network for clients.

• Engage actively in program development, evaluation efforts, and grant reporting to contribute to the overarching objectives of the organization and enhance service effectiveness.

• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and community outreach efforts to further develop professional skills and knowledge of emerging issues in mental health and detoxification.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will primarily be on individuals and families within the detox context, caring for clients struggling with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health issues, and other significant life challenges. You will provide not only therapeutic support but also educational resources and advocacy, promoting recovery and long-term well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current, active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
