In this stationary role, you will help manage access, greet visitors, and respond to security‑related concerns with strong communication and customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service at the front desk by following site‑specific procedures, managing visitor check‑in and/or access protocols, and supporting a professional arrival experience at a technology‑focused location. Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify credentials and/or appointments as directed, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent front desk presence and reporting. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and documenting security‑related concerns. Answer questions, direct employees, guests, and vendors to the appropriate destination, and communicate site policies, badge procedures, and other front desk expectations. Support daily security‑related operations by maintaining visitor logs, receiving deliveries as directed, monitoring cameras and/or alarm notifications from the desk, and escalating issues according to site protocols. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
