Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments , and formulate individualized treatment plans aimed at meeting the unique needs of each client.

• Deliver effective individual, family, or group therapy using culturally responsive methods, incorporating evidence-based practices to ensure the best outcomes for clients.

• Maintain thorough and precise clinical documentation in compliance with ethical, legal, and agency standards, ensuring all documentation reflects the care provided.

• Participate in regular clinical consultations and training, actively engaging in discussions to enhance therapeutic approaches and clinical skills.

• Advocate for clients’ best interests within various systems such as schools, healthcare, and legal frameworks, ensuring they receive comprehensive support.

• Contribute to fostering a positive organizational culture that promotes an atmosphere of inclusion, learning, and mutual respect .

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on clients facing a diverse range of challenges, including mental health concerns and social injustices. You will work closely with individuals from various backgrounds, particularly those from marginalized populations , including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, immigrant/refugee communities, and low-income individuals. Your ability to connect and empathize with clients from diverse walks of life will be crucial in facilitating their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• Active and in good standing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is required, showcasing your commitment to professional practice.

• Demonstrated proficiency in diagnostic formulation and trauma-informed care, with a strong emphasis on culturally competent practices.

• A track record of successfully working with underserved communities and understanding the unique dynamics influencing their experiences.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and telehealth platforms (e.g., SimplePractice , Zoom ).

Compensation and Benefits\n
