Work Environment\n

In this remote role, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team that operates between 8 A.M. and 7 P.M. from Monday to Friday. We are open to scheduling flexibility, allowing for either 4x10 or 5x8 shifts. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, couples, and family counseling aimed at promoting mental health and addressing emotional issues.

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to gather social, personal, and health information, interpreting this data to develop targeted treatment plans.

• Design and implement treatment interventions within your scope of practice, evaluating and adapting them based on client progress.

• Facilitate crisis intervention and offer short-term counseling to individuals experiencing acute distress, while connecting them to community resources when necessary.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation, ensuring all client records are up-to-date according to established protocols and reflect the services provided.

• Engage in regular case reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment services and make informed decisions to adjust client care as needed.

• Build and sustain a trusting therapeutic alliance with clients, characterized by mutual respect and empathy, fostering a safe space for healing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our hospice center serves a diverse population, including individuals dealing with terminal illnesses, grief, loss, and complex emotional challenges surrounding end-of-life care. Clients may require support with anxiety, depression, and various behavioral health conditions, including substance dependency. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will be instrumental in helping clients navigate these profound experiences with dignity and support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California or eligibility for such licensure.

Compensation and Benefits\n
