Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of young children to determine developmental challenges and create individualized intervention plans.
\n
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) that focus on building skills in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication areas.
\n
• Monitor and report on developmental outcomes as a collaborative member of the multidisciplinary team.
\n
• Provide ongoing support and resources to families, helping them navigate their child’s developmental journey.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices to forge supportive relationships with families and children, ensuring care is effective and culturally responsive.
\n
• Administer evaluations and collaborate with families to develop joint plans, applying Natural Learning Environment Practices to enhance the child’s upbringing.
\n
• Support service frequency recommendations based on each child’s unique development status and the family’s priorities.
\n
• Maintain compliance with all relevant Federal and State regulations to ensure a safe, ethical, and high-standard work environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The successful LCSW will focus on providing services to young children, particularly those with disabilities or developmental delays. Our Children's Services program aims to support infants and toddlers in acquiring essential skills that are typically foundational during the earliest years of life. This role is critical in helping families access necessary support and interventions in a way that respects their individual circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW by the California Department of Public Health.

• A valid driver's license is necessary for potential community outreach.

• A commitment to and demonstrable experience with Natural Learning Environment Practices.

Preferred Experience\n
