Work Environment\n

This full-time remote position offers the flexibility of working from home while remaining integral to a dedicated team. While most of the clinical work will occur through telehealth sessions, in-person interactions may be necessary based on client needs and preferences. Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver evidence-based therapy to individuals, families, and groups, tailored to the unique backgrounds and experiences of clients.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to inform the development of individualized treatment plans that effectively address clients' needs.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation and client records in accordance with Maryland state regulations and internal standards.
\n
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with case managers, psychiatrists, and community organizations to facilitate holistic care.
\n
• Participate in clinical team meetings for case consultations, professional development, and updates on best practices.
\n
• Advocate for clients’ needs, guiding them towards appropriate resources and services for additional support.
\n
• Adhere to ethical standards set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and maintain compliance with Maryland Board requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including youth and adults affected by trauma or mental health disorders. Your understanding of different cultural backgrounds will be vital in delivering effective and respectful care. By providing a safe and supportive therapeutic environment, you'll guide clients through difficult life transitions and help them develop coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Possess a current and unrestricted LCSW-C license in the State of Maryland.

• Hold a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably working with populations experiencing trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders.

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and familiar with documentation standards relevant to mental health.

• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, crucial for effective client engagement and professional interaction.

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to principles of equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed care.
