Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to determine individual needs.

• Collaborate with students, parents, and educational staff to tailor individualized treatment plans that encompass the unique goals, needs, and cultural backgrounds of each student.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), to provide therapy in one-on-one and group settings, addressing a variety of emotional and social challenges.

• Engage in crisis intervention strategies as required, proactively addressing acute situations with students and coordinating care with school personnel and other healthcare providers.

• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including treatment plans and progress notes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.

• Deliver psychoeducational sessions for students and families to equip them with effective strategies for managing mental health issues and enhancing emotional resilience.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team—including teachers, school counselors, and medical professionals—to deliver holistic care tailored to the needs of the student population.

• Monitor treatment progression through regular outcome assessments, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on efficacy and feedback.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and trends in mental health, integrating new knowledge into practice for improved patient outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
