Shift Description: 7a-7a, 24 Hour Call

Weekend Requirements: Yes

On Call Requirements: Yes

MANDATED Job Requirements:

Board Certified/Eligible - REQUIRED
Active KY License - REQUIRED (will accept active IMLC)
Flu vaccine - REQUIRED
COVID Vaccinate - Preferred
100% Clean background - REQUIRED

Job Details:

24 Hour Call 7am-7am
Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
Trauma Level/Designation: No Trauma Designation
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days

The hospital is looking for 2 GI Physicians to add to their pool for call coverage beginning August 2025 (on-going!)

Required Procedures:

Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry
Small Bowel Biopsy
Lower GI Endoscopy
Sigmoidoscopy
Colonoscopy
Required Types of Upper GI Endoscopy:

with Biopsy
with Foreign Body Removal
with Banding of Varices
Diagnostic
with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
