Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for each patient, reviewing their medical history and performing specific assessments to outline treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment options clearly to patients and their families, involving them in goal-setting discussions to enhance their engagement in the rehabilitation process.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols while paying careful attention to the patient's progress and adjusting treatments as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, actively documenting any changes in patient conditions that may require modifications to their treatment plans.
• Oversee patient discharge planning, ensuring that follow-up care instructions are clear and comprehensive. Accurately document all facets of care from initial evaluations to progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Meet productivity expectations by effectively managing time and scheduling while participating in marketing initiatives to promote hospital and community engagement.
• Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals, staying compliant with all governmental regulations and accreditation standards.
• Take an active role in pursuing professional development opportunities, including serving as a clinical instructor to students in physical therapy programs.
• Strive to enhance the customer experience by being adaptable and responsive, ensuring that patients have fantastic access to care throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist focusing on orthopedic cases, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• State licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee is required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is essential.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
