Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize therapeutic techniques to establish trusted relationships with patients, creating a warm and welcoming environment for therapy.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders while maintaining up-to-date patient records using our integrated Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that accommodate each patient's unique circumstances and mental health needs, and regularly revise these plans based on progress assessments and feedback.

• Facilitate both individual and couples therapy sessions, employing evidence-based intervention strategies to support clients through their specific challenges.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans and providing consistent feedback and support.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and social workers, to provide a comprehensive support system for patients; referring clients to specialists when appropriate.

• Stay informed about the latest research and practices in mental health management, specifically in the areas of addiction counseling and co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will work with individuals from different backgrounds, making cultural competence and empathetic understanding essential in tailoring treatment approaches to suit each patient’s unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active LMFT license in California.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
