Business Development Representative

Velotic is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive growth across our Kepware and ThingWorx solution portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to combine outbound prospecting, customer expansion, and full‑cycle sales ownership in the rapidly growing Industrial IoT (IIoT) and digital transformation space. What You'll Do Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and strategic outreach Engage with manufacturing and industrial customers to understand business challenges and identify solution opportunities Own the full sales cycle for mid‑market opportunities - from discovery through close Expand existing customer relationships and identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities Partner with Account Executives on larger enterprise opportunities Maintain a healthy pipeline, accurate forecasting, and strong CRM discipline What We're Looking For 2–5 years of experience in business development, inside sales, account management, or a similar customer‑facing role Proven ability to generate pipeline and close B2B opportunities Strong communication, discovery, and relationship‑building skills Experience working with CRM and sales engagement platforms Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, metrics‑driven environment Preferred Experience B2B software, SaaS, Industrial Technology, or Automation solutions Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, or Industrial IoT (IIoT) markets Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms Cross‑sell, upsell, and account expansion experience Why Join Velotic?
