The Hyrbid Field Sales Representative (HFSR) is directly responsible for managing sales growth by building a book of business leveraging field sales marketing activity and telesales programs. The position will sell, cross-sell, up-sell, and retain through the use of the Aetna IVL Medicare product portfolio. This role will deploy an operating model that supports three days in the field and two days in a call center queue to support the organization lower acquisition costs, increase field agent productivity, build strong brand ambassadors in local markets, and support more direct to consumer growth by meeting consumers where they want to be met in home or over the phone. The HFSR will own the member relationship throughout the year and will be the primary contact for member inquiries, including but not limited to, any questions related to plan benefits, product, and services offerings, as well as resolving any issues with respect to the utilization of the product. The position will be a part of a high performing team with strong emphasis on personal and professional development and career growth.

  • Acquisition and conversion of new and existing members via field programs including, face to face appointments, retail, provider, center of influence development and referrals programs.
  • Acquisition and conversion of new and existing members via inbound and outbound calls by assessing customer needs for products and services using insightful, probing questions, and demonstrating superior listening skills.
  • Document in the hybrid field sales integrated tech stack the call interactions, COIs, and lead management protocols with new and existing members.
  • Develop, continuously train, and learn new sales skills to support best in class customer acquisition metrics, sales goals, and other KPIs meant to drive complaint and quality sales.
  • Accountable for telesales/field sales achievement of quality, sales effectiveness, retention, secret shopper initiatives, and state, federal, and CMS requirements for Medicare sales agents and programs
  • 0-3 Years Experience Required

Essential Qualifications, Essential Functions & Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree or 1 to 2 years' experience of selling multiple Medicare products (i.e., Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement)
  • Life & Health insurance license is not required to be employed. It is required to obtain the license within 60 days from the employment start date
  • Active use of computer for carrying out daily job activities
  • Ability to multi-task while talking on the phone
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Self-starter with positive attitude and ability to control emotions when dealing with unhappy customers (i.e. "Customer is always right" attitude)
  • Adaptable to high pressure, achievement-oriented environment
  • Drive to build, manage, and grow a book of business and become successful entrepreneur
  • High level of computer proficiency including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office package
  • Ability to quickly perform basic mathematical operations w/out use of calculator
  • Adept at presentation skills
  • Adept at learning Medicare products, sales process, and systems
  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork
  • Adept at selling skills

Time Type: Full time

Pay Range: The typical pay range for this role is: $47,788.00 - $81,090.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
