Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Role in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.74 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access practices, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant security-related details. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store area, surrounding property, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help deter theft, trespassing, and/or disruptive behavior while maintaining a professional presence. Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or local responders as needed regarding incidents, policy concerns, and other security-related matters. Minimum Requirements: Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
