Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $29.93 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed: 04:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur: 02:00 PM - 12:00 AM Fri: 02:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat: 02:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and public areas, assisting with directions, policy questions, and/or crowd management needs during routine operations and higher-traffic periods. Support public agency operations by observing for unusual behavior, hazards, and/or service disruptions, then communicating with site contacts and first responders as needed. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. CPR certification is preferred. Handcuffing certification is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
