Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.85 / Hour Job Schedule: Day/Time Wed 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM, Thu 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM, Fri 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM, Sat 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by following site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and other security‑related policies at a government transportation location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public emergency services when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, waiting areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor public areas and restricted locations for unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or unattended property, and document security‑related events according to site procedures. Assist with crowd management, queue observation, and access point support during busy travel periods, service interruptions, and/or special events. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
