Supervisory Program Analyst

Duties

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Provide technical advice and consultation to BLS managers and operating personnel, contractors and agents, cooperating State agencies, and other Federal agencies involved in or affected by BLS statistical program confidentiality policies
Direct reviews of program and administrative operations to determine compliance with legal, regulatory, and policy requirements
Manage BLS activities related to the Freedom of Information Act, the Privacy Act, the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the Foundations for Evidence-Based Policymaking Act, and the Confidential Information Protection and Statistical Efficiency Act
Evaluate proposed legislation, regulations, and standards and advise the Commissioner and other top managers about their implications and the compliance action required
Direct management studies and program reviews to: evaluate, advise on, and improve the effectiveness of work methods, procedures, and program operations
